About us

/rō bō käɡˈnēt ō/

Robocognito is a Seattle-based start-up specializing in virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality applications. Our name is a combination of two words:

  • Robot: A nod to futuristic technology.
  • Cognition: The process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience and the senses.

Custom VR applications

Robocognito creates custom virtual reality applications for experiential marketing, learning and outreach. We want to help organizations forge a deeper, more meaningful relationship with their clients, stakeholders, trainees and employees.

We believe VR can improve the quality and efficiency of traditional training and education, and to help make dangerous occupations safer and help improve a customer experience.

In traditional training, students get to practice hands-on skills a limited number of times because training in a real-life setting is time consuming and resource intensive. Extra practice time is not always possible. Our VR experiences allow students to practice a task in a low-risk, virtual environment as many times as they need to become proficient. This reduces the likelihood of making dangerous or, in some cases, life-threatening mistakes on the job.

Plus, an authentic simulation gives stakeholders a taste for what they will experience with a brand. This could ignite a passion for a new career or discover a new adventure.

We believe our custom VR experiences will help organizations meet their unique learning and marketing goals, as well as offer higher quality training that is more efficient and cost effective. We also believe this training will help organizations attract younger workers and clients, who are already using VR technology for fun.

We’d love to coordinate a time to chat about how our VR experiences may help you.
